Deepika Padukone to act in Sundar C's film ?
Article posted on 02 October 2016The pre production works for Sundar C's prestigious flick with Sri Thenandal Films is going on as the director is busy roping in the top actors and technicians for the film. A.R.Rahman is the only confirmed member of the crew to compose the tunes. For stunt sequences, professionals from Germany who worked for the Hollywood film Avatar are in talks.
As for the leading actors, names like Jayam Ravi, Arya and Mahesh Babu are rounding the reports. For the leading lady, we recently hear that Deepika Padukone is approached with the script. She was last seen in Superstar's Kochadaiyaan and is awaiting to make a full fledged debut to Kollywood yet.
This historic flick titled as Sangamithra is touted to be revolving around the female lead as the name suggests. Further the Bajirao Mastani actress has become choosy in her films lately since she has made her Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel in XXX: Return of Xander Cage. So will Deepika take up this powerful role or not is a question mark.
