Ram Gopal Varma to make Veerappan biopic in Hindi
Article posted on 29 January 2016Killing Veerappan was a Kannada blockbuster made by Ram Gopal Varma and focussed on the Operation Cocoon of killing the deadly sandalwood smuggler. Sachiin Joshi, whom we have seen in the Telugu remake of Aashiqui 2 has expressed interest in remaking the movie in Hindi.
He had conversed with RGV about helming the film as a biopic of how a man like Veerappan grew to such a level. So this movie will run around his initial stages of growth, fault in the system that allowed his activities and finally his killing.
Sachiin Joshi will act & produce the film and will be made in an international level. The director has also interacted with some officers involved in the operation to know more about it. Looks like it will be screened at some International Film Festivals before the theatrical release.
