In a recent interview, director Tamizh revealed that Vetrimaaran is working on the script for 'Vaadi Vaasal' whenever he has free time, as it is one of his passion projects. Tamizh also confirmed that the film's shoot will commence shortly.
Director Vetrimaaran has scheduled to complete all the portions for the second part of 'Viduthalai' before focusing on 'Vaadi Vaasal.' Suriya is expected to join the cast soon after wrapping up the remaining 75 days of filming for 'Suriya42.'
