Visaranai, the third movie to be directed by Vetrimaaran after four years starring Dhanush, Anandhi and Samuthirakani marks the first Tamil film to enter the Orizzonti competitive category in 72 year of history of the oldest Venice International Film Festival. The movie is jointly produced by the director and the actor after their success story of Kaaka Muttai and had received a great honor before its release.
G.V.Prakash composed music for this movie and for him, there has been many movies of his work which was filmed at various International Film Festivals. Ace Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap had congratulated the duo for their work that Tamil cinema is doing good and also it was a superb thrilling movie. The story was based on a novel named “Lock-up” and has Attakathi Dinesh, Kishore and Aadukalam Murugadoss in supporting roles.
The movie will be released by the first week of September in Kollywood. It is an experimental kind of movie running for only 60 minutes and shows the loopholes in police investigations on innocent suspects.
