Sathuranga Vettai 2 rolls off with Arvind Swamy & Trisha
Article posted on 11 November 2016The sequel to the 2014 black comedy heist, Sathuranga Vettai is on cards with Arvind Swamy and Trisha in the lead roles. The announcement came as a surprise to the movie buffs few weeks back and the shooting has started to roll off from November 10. The team had also released some stylish pictures with both the protagonists who are pairing up for the first time.
The first installment was directed by debutant Vinoth and Lingusamy of Thirupathi Brothers was co-producing the venture with Manobala. However this part will be helmed by director Nirmal Kumar of Salim fame and will be produced by Manobala alone under the banner Picture House. Also Vinoth is donning the hat of story writing, screenplay and penning the dialogues for the sequel.
Trisha had the release of Kodi for this Diwali and completed the shooting of her upcoming horror flick Mohini recently. Arvind Swamy had also completed the filming of his portions in Dhruva, the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan and is awaiting the release of Bogan in which he has shared the screen space with Jayam Ravi for the second time in a row.
