Yesteryear actress Sridevi will be having her next Bollywood film release 'Mom' in which she plays the titular role after her comeback film English Vinglish in 2012. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, this family film is bankrolled by the actress's hubby Boney kapoor. The shooting was progressing at a brisk pace for two months at Georgia and was wrapped up recently.
The next schedule was supposed to take place at Mumbai with the team and all of a sudden, the filming has come to an unexpected halt. The supporting cast consists of talented Pakistani actors Adnan Siddiqui playing Sridevi's husband and Sajal Ali playing her daughter. Owing to the tension between India and Pakistan, both of them couldn't be on board with the team for the shooting of remaining portions.
When questioned on the status of the same, Boney kapoor shared that there is only one day work left and they will come up with positive news about its release. The issue prevails with all Indian films having Pakistani actors playing prominent roles. One among them is Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in which Pakistani actor Fawad Khan is seen in a pivotal role.
