Rohit Shetty’s comedy series Golmaal is on cards to be made in the fourth installment by the same director. After the release of last film Dilwale, he has been on vacation and the producer cum director has returned with the script of Golmaal 4. He is yet to commence the work on this flick but within that there were rumours buzzing around that it would be a remake of the Kollywood black comedy film Soodhu Kavvum.

Clearing the clouds, the director himself announced that there is no similarity between his film ad Soodhu Kavvum. The reason for these sudden rumours were that Rohit had recently bought the Hindi remake rights for the Tamil film. But he shared that though he had bought the remake rights, Golmaal 4 is a different one and not the same.

Regarding the movie's cast, the series featured Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor in the leading roles. Whether they are retained the same for the fourth time is not known. As for the leading ladies, Kareena Kapoor is out of choice due to her pregnancy and the top contenders at present are Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. With the whole team on board, the film will run on floors this October.
