Cinematographer Tirru in praises for Suriya in 24
Article posted on 05 May 2016Thirunavukarasu is a renowned cinematographer in Kollywood who worked as an assistant with P.C.Sreeram. He had established himself in many movies mostly for Kamal Haasan in the early stages. He shared that he has always been waiting for a good opportunity to prove himself and that 24 has been the chance for it.
After a brief gap of 6 years, Tirru is coming back to Tamil cinema as he ventured to Bollywood for Krrish 3, Aakrosh, etc in the recent past. After hearing the story of 24 and the attention given to minute details by its director Vikram Kumar, Tirru had no other choice but to commit to 24. The team has handled few new advanced techniques to give a visual treat to the audiences.
No other producer other than Suriya would have handled the movie so easily with much dedication in practical day to day routines, says Tirru. In the role of Athreya, Suriya had taken much risk in certain scenes without using the artificial graphics to take care of it. The actor had specially insisted on making stunts naturally instead of filling CG in it. With all these lauding words, the movie is ready to open to theatres on May 6.
