The imprisonment of Sanjay Dutt for 10 years at Yerwada jail has been never-forgettable times in the Bollywood industry till date. During those period, he had worked as a semi-skilled worker with few activities like making cane items, paper bag, radio-jockeying, etc. But the prisoner number C-16656 is far different from all these regular chores.
The actor has written about 500 Shers, couplets in two rhyming lines along with his two inmates, Zeishan Qureshi and Sameer Hingle. The news is that they are going to publish this as a book named ‘Salaakhen’ soon. Written in Hindi, this will portray his life experiences in about 100 Shers penned alone by himself.
After getting released from the jail, looking back at what he has written surprises him off the edge. In fact, he has shared one of them to the public in a recent interview. One day when his wife Manyata Dutt visited him she had fever and pondering on that he has written few lines as:
'Aankhon mein nami thi, badan tap raha tha, phir bhi hoton pe hasi thi aur baaton mein pyaar tha... Aapko dekh ke dukh hua par khushi bhi hui, ussi khushi ke saath paigam bhi tha ke aap mujhse mohabbat karte ho'.
