Sanjay Dutt's comeback film is one of the most anticipated projects of this year as speculations are running with different directors yet there is no official news over it. Earlier the actor seemed to have confirmed the script by Siddharth Anand of Bang Bang fame.
At the same time, we also heard that the following movie for Sanjay would be helmed by the Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Now, a source close to the actor reveal that after hearing Siddharth’s script, he did not like it.
Instead of delaying it further, Sanjay has given a direct answer as 'no' to the maker and decided to move on with other options. So the Siddharth Anand's film is shelved as of now. Speaking about the current project at hand, it is titled as Marco Bhau focussing on the emotional tale between father and daughter.
When Vinod had narrated the script to Dutt, it had immediately impressed him and hence confirmed it. The actor will be seen playing Goan for the first time. Also Vidhu Vinod Chopra's sister Shelly Chopra will be directing the film making her directorial debut while her brother will produce the flick under Vinod Chopra Films.
The movie will be having 4 leading ladies and the makers are currently hunting for the same. The pre-production works will begin by August month at a full swing. The first half of the film will be shot at Goa and the other half at Chennai.
