Rajinikanth to be conferred with ‘Datuk’ from Malaysia
Article posted on 31 October 2015Superstar who was touted to shoot Kabali at Malaysia has gone under a good friendship with the Malacca Government in the recent week. He was invited to have lunch at the Governor Mohd Khalil’s residence and then now they are privileged to honour the actor with the Datukship, the prestigious state award by the Malacca Government.
Earlier in 2008, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and in 2012, the Kollywood veteran actor Radha Ravi were given with the Datukship. They were the only Indian cine celebrities to be honoured with it. An official announcement to glorify Rajinikanth from the Governor’s office is yet to reach. Meanwhile some sources says that the shooting of Kabali is also progressing side by side at a faster pace.
