The National Award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar had been dormant since the not-so-successful movie Heroine. He has recently come out to silverscreens with a women-centric drama ‘Calendar Girls’. The director had actually signed in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the movie Heroine in 2012 which he considered as his masterpiece.
It was the time when the actress was on stardom and just married Abhishek Bachchan. Madhur had calculated great ambitions with Aishwarya right when she was disclosed pregnant. The replacement with Kareena Kapoor Khan did not meet the commercial success as expected even after many hurdles.
When recently interviewed about his idea of having Aishwarya back in his films, he expressed positive inclinations on finding another interesting script to suit her. He has even liked and tweeted about the trailer of Jazbaa, the comeback movie of Aishwarya on October 9.
