The creators of Rakshan's movie, "Marakkuma Nenjam," revealed on Thursday that the film will be released in theaters on February 2. The movie, directed by Yoagandran, is significant as it marks Rakshan's first appearance as the main character.
Described as a growing-up story, "Marakkuma Nenjam" is the second movie by Yoagandran, following "Methagu 2." Produced by Filia Entertainment and Kuviyam Mediaworks, the film is reported to have been filmed in locations such as Kanyakumari.
Earlier, the creators shared a preview of the movie. The trailer begins with a grown-up Rakshan talking about his school days with his best friend played by Dheena. It gives us glimpses of his school life, including moments like his first crush and challenges faced at the back of the classroom. The second part of the trailer suggests that there might be some drama and a difficult past.
Besides Rakshan, the movie features Vishaka Dhiman, 'Prankster' Rahul, Dheena, and KPY Rajkumar. The music is composed by Sachin Warrier, with lyrics by Thamarai. The cinematography is done by Gopi Duraisamy, and Shashank Malik is in charge of editing.
