The makers of the highly anticipated Tamil film "Marakkuma Nenjam" unveiled their first single, "Netrum Indrum," on Sunday. This captivating song, composed and sung by Sachin Warrier, beautifully captures the essence of teenage romance. Thamarai's lyrical prowess adds depth to the composition. Set against a backdrop of a school atmosphere, the song showcases actor Rakshan in the role of a school-going student, bringing the story to life.
Marakkuma Nenjam, directed by Yoagandran, marks the debut of popular TV anchor and actor Rakshan as the lead character. Rakshan has previously played a significant role in the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal.
Described as a coming-of-age film, Marakkuma Nenjam is Yoagandran's second directorial venture after Methagu 2. The film is produced by Filia Entertainment and Kuviyam Mediaworks and has been filmed in various locations, including Kanyakumari.
In addition to Rakshan, the film features a talented ensemble cast comprising Dheena, Malina, Rahul, Swetha Venugopal, Ashika Kader, Melvin Dennis, Muthazhagan, Natalie Lourds, Vishvath, Munishkanth, Akila, and Arun Kurian.
