Rajinikanth's new movie 'Jailer' is a Tamil comedy-action film that's coming to theaters on August 10, 2023. People are buying tickets really quickly since they started being available on August 6, 2023, all over India. The PVR-INOX theaters, a popular chain, have shared that they've sold a massive 1.3 lakh 'Jailer' tickets in India. That's a lot, especially since it's a regional film, and there's still one more day until it's out.

Produced by Sun Pictures, 'Jailer' is a movie written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film features a lot of well-known actors including Mohan Lal, Jackie Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Mirna Menon, Tamannah, Vasanth Ravi, Naga Babu, Yogi Babu, Jaffer Sadiq, Kishore, Billy Muralee, Sugunthan, Karate Karthi, Mithun, Arshad, Marimuthu, Rithvik, Saravanan, Aranthaangi Nisha, Mahanadi Shankar, and many more.

Given a U/A certificate, 'Jailer' has a total duration of 168.47 minutes, which is 2 hours, 48 minutes, and 47 seconds. The team working on this film includes Anirudh for music, Vijay Karthik Kannan for capturing the visuals, R. Nirmal for editing, Drk Kiran for designing the sets, Stunt Siva for handling the action scenes, and Pallavi Singh and Muthul Hafeez for creating the costumes.
