In a recent development, the creators of Jailer unveiled the first single titled "Kaavaalaa," a lively dance track featuring Tamannaah. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is set to release in theaters on August 10. This project marks Nelson's fourth directorial venture and his first collaboration with Rajinikanth. Sun Pictures banner is financing the film, with Vijay Kartik Kannan serving as the cinematographer and Nirmal handling the editing.
Jailer will showcase a remarkable ensemble cast spanning different film industries, with acclaimed actors such as Mohanlal, Sunil, Jackie Shroff, and Shivrajkumar. In addition to these names, the film will also include Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, and Vinayakan, among other talented performers. Rajini takes on the role of Muthuvel Pandian in the movie.
