Starting the career as a bus conductor to reach the heights of fame could be only possible by the dedicated efforts and the passion towards acting. Debuted by K.Balachander in Apoorva Raagangal in August 18, 1975, Rajinikanth has given almost 158 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi in total and also one in English.
It was S.P.Muthuraman who rebuilt his image with a line of 24 films in 1990s. After 2000, he began to give movies once in a year or two yet the fire from his fans has been burning hot. Later due to health issues, the actor made another film only in 2014 under his daughter’s direction, Kochadaiiyaan. The subsequent movie Lingaa even though was a commercial flop gave him the Vijay Award for Favourite Hero. At present, his venture with a young director Pa.Ranjith seems to be promising with all the key elements of Superstar to be released in 2016.
