Captain Miller, an action-packed adventure in Tamil, helmed by director Arun Matheswaran and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, features Dhanush in the lead role. Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken, and Edward Sonnenblick round out the supporting cast.

Arun crafted the script back in 2018 with Sathya Jyothi Films initially set to produce. However, concrete plans didn't solidify until 2019 when the project began taking shape. Initially named D47 (marking Dhanush's 47th lead role film), the official announcement came in July 2022. Principal photography spanned from September to late 2023, encompassing locations in Chennai, Tirunelveli, and Tenkasi. The music is masterfully composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, with Siddhartha Nuni behind the cinematography and Nagooran Ramachandran handling editing duties.

The highly anticipated Captain Miller is set for a worldwide release on January 12, 2024, coinciding with the festive occasion of Pongal.
