Vijay Devarakonda became very much familiar with his movie ‘Pelli Choopulu’ following which his magnum opus ‘Arjun Reddy’ which made him the popular star across Tamil Nadu and India. The actor is now making his debut in Tamil cinema through the film ‘NOTA’, directed by Anand Shankar of Irumugan fame. The film will be simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu. The movie is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja and the launch happened yesterday herein Chennai.
Speaking on the occasion, K.E. Gnanavel Raja said, “Soon after watching the trailer of Irumugan, I was stunned with the brilliant style of Anand Shankar and wanted to produce a film for him. I am happy that has happened now.”
Director Anand Shankar on his part added that K.E. Gnanavel Raja has been someone, who trusts on the script and makes movies. I am elated to have been associated with him.
Actor Vijay Devarakonda says that soon after Pelli Choopulu, there were some offers coming down from Tamil industry and it gradually increased with Arjun Reddy. Nevertheless, he waited for the right one to come his way. Now that he has found an appropriate one from Anand Shankar, it brings him here in Kollywood. Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Devarakonda also promises that he will be dubbing in his own voice in Tamil for this film.
