Director A L Vijay has directed Women – Centric film before commencing the remake of Malayalam film ‘Charlie’ with Madhavan and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. This is the first film for Sai Pallavi in Kollywood. Now, the actress will make her Tamil debut with this film and not with the remake of ‘Charlie’.

There has been lots of shifting in the release dates of February schedule. Initially, Irumbu Thirai starring Vishal was scheduled to hit screens in this month, but later got postponed to the end of March and so has been other releases. Apparently, Sai Pallavi’s debut in Tamil cinema titled ‘Karu’ was announced before a month that it would release on February 9. But now it has been officially announced that the new release date is on February 23. The film is directed by Vijay and is produced by Lyca Productions with RJ Balaji playing an important role. The movie is expected to be a drama laced with some supernatural elements, which is based on abortion.
