This year has been a much tremendous one with back to back hits – Kavan and recent release Vikram Vedha. Vijay Sethupathi has got half dozen projects rolling at different stages of production and can you guess what will be his next release?
The much awaited and long pending release ‘Puriyadha Puthir’ will be hitting screens on September 1. This is a psychological thriller directed by Ranjith Jeyakodi featuring Vijay Sethupathi as a music director and Gayathri as a playback singer. This pair was hit in ‘Naduvula konjam pakkatha kaanom’ their performances was appreciated and welcomed by both the audiences and the critcs. So let as hope this pair give as the same entertainment as the entertained in their previous movie.
The film was initially titled as ‘Mellisai’ and then with J Satish Kumar acquiring the film’s rights renamed it as ‘Puriyadha Puthir’.
With the songs of Vikram Vedha turning to be a trenchant mark, it is going to be an additional attraction from music director Sam.
