Vijay Deverakonda roped in for a crucial role in actress Savitri’s biopic
Article posted on 15 May 2017Actress Savitri’s biopic is filmed as Tamil – Telugu bilingual directed by Nag Ashwin. Keerthy Suresh will be essaying the role of ace actress Savitri and Samantha will be seen playing as Jamuna, renowned actress & close friend of Savitri.
After so many speculations, Dulquer Salman was roped in to play as legendary actor Gemini Ganesan in the biopic. It is now confirmed that Vijay Deverakonda of ‘Pellichoopulu’ fame has been cast in to play Samantha’s love interest in the bilingual. This will also mark the Tamil debut for the actor.
The shooting of this bilingual will begin by the end of this month or in June. The film is titled as ‘Nadigayar Thilagam’ in Tamil and ‘Mahanati’ in Telugu. Stay tuned to WoodsDeck for more exciting updates on actress Savitri’s bilingual.
