Uru

Kalaiarasan and Dhansika have teamed up for a film directed by Vicky Anand, a debutante. The rest of the cast includes Mime Gopi, Tamil Selvi, Daniel Anne Pope and Karthika in crucial roles. The film is titled as ‘Uru’ and V P Viji of ‘Vaiyam Medias’ has produced this film.

The movie plot involves an outdated novelist and his traditional novels doesn’t interest the current generation of youngsters. So he plans to write a thriller to grab the attention of the youngsters and travels to Megamalai. Strange things happen during the visit and the rest forms the story. An interesting fact is that the film does not intrude any kind of ghost sequences!

The crew have shot most of the sequences in Kodaikanal and the team had to shoot under extremely cold conditions. Prasanna S Kumar has handled cinematography and Johan has composed music for ‘Uru’. The film is slated for a release on May 19.
