8 Thottakkal

‘8 Thottakkal’ is the most awaited film directed by debutante Sri Ganesh, who previously worked as an assistant with director Mysskin. This film has been setting trends with its promotions and songs. Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja acquired the music rights of the film. This New–Age–Cop Thriller is produced in collaboration with M Vellapandiyan of ‘Vetrivel Saravana Cinemas’ and I B Karthikeyan of ‘BigPrint Pictures’. Debutante Vetri and Aparna Balamurali of ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’ fame are the leads in this flick. Nassar and M S Bhaskar have played crucial roles in this film. ‘8 Thottakkal’ is all set for a release on April 7, which will be distributed by Sakthivel of ‘Sakthivel Film Factory’.

Aparna will be making her Tamil debut with this film. She will be seen essaying the role of a journalist named Meera Vasudevan. Aparna plays a crucial role in the film, who takes the storyline to a different level. It seems that her character will bring a surprise to the audience! She has also crooned a song ‘Mannipaaya’ which has music composed by K S Sundharamurthy in this film. Aparna is happy and privileged to be a part of this promising cast and crew.
