The characters from Indian mythological stories which seem nostalgic for us is the inspiration for the movie ‘Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai’ directed by Rathindran Prasad. Ashwin who was last seen in ‘Zero’, Guru Somasundharam of ‘Joker’ fame and Aishwarya Rajesh last seen in ‘Hello naa pei pesuren’ are the leads for this film in crucial roles. Well-known boxer and Hollywood artist Greg Burridge plays the antagonist and has also choreographed the stunts for this film.
Looks like a famous celebrity will be making a guest appearance in the film and is till kept under wraps and the crew has kept the information as suspense until the release of the film. Ghibran is the music composer for the film. Robert Zazzaro, an Italian cinematographer who is an expert in capturing natural terrains is the cinematographer for this film. VFX is handled by Bangkok-based animation company which has combined with Thailand-based animation expert Bobchand Rukransarith for handling the VFX for the film.
The crew has successfully completed their first set of schedule in Rajasthan and have started their next schedule in Hyderabad. B.Ganesh of ‘Common man Presents’ who have produced movies like ‘Orange Mittai’ and ‘Rekka’ earlier have collaborated along with the director of this film, Rathindran Prasad to produce the film.
With the talented cast and international crew, the director Rathindran Prasad who earlier took the music video titled “Kodaikanal Won’t” inspired and won lots of accolades from all over the world. This music video made Unilever, the huge corporate to pay compensation for dumping their industrial waste in Kodaikanal. It also won appreciation from celebrities like Ashton Kutcher, Mark Ruvello, Nikki Minaj, Kai Kawasaki and Sekar Kapur. The director’s short film ‘Swayer Corporation’ was celebrated in the international film festivals and also won in ‘Cannes film festival’.
His another musical video titled “Chennai’s Poramboku Song” for spoiling the environment and lethargic action of the officials has created a buzz among everyone. The song is sung by Carnatic singer T.M.Krishna. Being a socially responsible citizen and director the expectation levels from the director is high.
