“Thala 57 is more like a James Bond film”, says Anirudh
Article posted on 13 January 2017The shooting of Thala 57, tentatively titled as AK 57 is progressing at a brisk pace with some action sequences shot in parts of Europe. Touted to be a spy thriller, the team is having a short break after which the final schedule is going to kickstart after Pongal at Bulgaria.
Meanwhile Anirudh Ravichander who is working for the second time with Ajith has shared his excitement to be a part of the project. He also unveiled that this Siva directorial has a different concept and will be unique from Ajith's previous movies.
This flick is made equal to International standards and will be more like a James Bond film with Thala sported as a stylish spy. In order to fulfill the expectations of the fans, Anirudh is said to have put special efforts in scoring the background music and the title song.
We also hear that the first look poster is likely to be revealed by the end of January. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, AK 57 is the most expensive film in the actor's career made with almost 100 crores. Starring Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady, the other members of the cast includes Akshara Haasan in a pivotal role and Vivek Oberoi as the baddie.
