Raja Ranguski, the upcoming flick by director Dharanidharan with Metro actor Sirish had signed Pooja Devariya as the leading lady. The filming took off in the outskirts of Chennai at Sriperumbudur with the pair and the makers were planned to finish the entire shoot in 2 months time. Unfortunately Pooja seems to have fallen ill with just one day of outdoor filming and owing to her fever, she has to be replaced.
The Chennai schedule is planned to be wrapped up in another five days in which all the main scenes are shot. Hence in place of her, Chandini Tamilarasan who was last seen in Vil Ambu will play the leading lady. Speaking about the replacement, Dharanidharan shares that Pooja is a fine theatre artist who was a perfect fit into the role and the team is unhappy on losing her.
Since the shooting has be done at a fast pace, the makers are pushed to opt for another heroine (Ranguski) for the project. On the other hand, Chandini's professionalism is also much appreciated by the director as she joined the sets within 12 hours of signing. She is said to play a writer and the movie is said to be based on a true story about a murder mystery set in Chennai.
