Samantha replaced by Remo actress for Savitri biopic ??
Article posted on 04 January 2017The biopic of the late actress Savitri is on cards to be made by director Nag Ashwin and the team is onto hunting the female lead to play the legendary character. Few weeks back there were reports rounding that Samantha was the one signed for reprising her role.
While the latest news is that Keerthy Suresh will be playing the leading lady as Savitri and Samantha has another pivotal role in the flick. Further we hear that the life of Savitri would be narrated from the perspective of Samantha's character.
Titled as Mahanati, it is a bilingual made in Tamil and Telugu. The movie will run around the chronicles of professional and personal life of the Nadigayar Thilakam. The shooting will roll out from February after the team makes an official announcement on the cast and crew members.
Not to mention, in a short span of 4 years, Keerthy Suresh managed to grab the status of an A-list actress. Apart from playing this proud role, she is part of Thaana Serntha Kootam with Suriya, Sandakozhi 2 with Vishal, an untitled Telugu flick with Pawan Kalyan and also awaiting the release of Bhairava with Vijay.
