The evergreen actress Trisha seems to have occupied the whole of 2017 with multiple projects in her kitty. She is currently shooting for her horror flick Mohini in which she plays the Chef and the heist thriller Sathuranga Vettai 2 with Arvind Swamy. Apart from them, she has few other ventures like Garjanai, the Tamil remake of Bollywood road thriller NH 10 and 96 with Vijay Sethupathi.

To add last to this list comes her Mollywood debut with Nivin Pauly in second half of 2017. Now the latest news is that she has been roped in for another flick titled as 1818. To be directed by debutant Ridhun Sagar, it will be made as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. The movie's plot is based on the Mumbai Terror Attack at the Taj Hotel on 26-11-2008.

Trisha is likely to play the main protagonist along with Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Misha Ghoshal and Ramesh Thilak of Soodhu Kavvum fame in supporting roles. Looks like the movie doesn’t feature any hero as love interest for the Kodi actress. The technical crew has SS Thaman scoring the tunes, Om Prakash cranking the camera and Madhan Karky penning the lyrics.
