Karthi’s next gets an interesting title !!
Article posted on 22 December 2016Karthi who is currently shooting for Mani Ratnam's Kaatru Veliyidai has signed a new flick with director H.Vinoth of Sathuranga Vettai fame few weeks back. The team was having the pre-production works going on and has got a title recently. The makers have named as Dheeran Adhikaram Ondru which will have Rakul Preet Singh playing the female lead romancing with Karthi.
The Kashmora actor is reported to play a cop in this film for the second time after Siruthai. Touted to be a fast paced action thriller, it is bankrolled by SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures who funded for Kashmora. Prabhu shared in a recent interview that this flick is not a regular cop film but is based out of a real life incident.
Dheeran is the character name of Karthi, a straightforward police officer who works undercover at instances. The actor had already become lean and fit for Kaatru Veliyidai since he plays a pilot in the Mani Ratnam directorial and hence he would maintaining the same physique as a cop in this film. The shooting is planned to commence from January first week at Chennai once he is back from abroad.
