Shankar's sci-fi thriller sequel 2.0 has started in its production works from December 16 last year with several pause. In the meantime Superstar also shot for Kabali and went abroad for medical treatments. Looking now, it has been one long year since its commencement and the makers have shared that there are only three more months of shooting schedule left.
The last schedule is running at Chennai from December with Superstar spotted at Kelambakkam. In the first week, the Kabali actor suffered a knee injury from a fall at the sets but recuperated soon and joined the filming by the nightfall. The team had recently erected a lavish set of a Artificial Intelligence Research Centre at an IT park in Ambattur.
Unfortunately due to the cyclone effects, the sets have been completely destroyed and the crew has to rework again. Produced by Lyca Productions, the movie is made with a whopping amount of 400 crores. The entire shooting is planned to be wrapped up by March 2017 and it will open to screens for the forthcoming Diwali.
