Bollywood's yesteryear actress Rekha made her debut to acting as a child artiste through a Telugu film, Rangula Ratnam in 1966 after which she did another film Amma Kosam in 1970. Later to that her career grew well in Hindi cine industry over these years and now in 2016 she is reported to make a comeback to Tollywood after a very long gap of 46 years.
Touted to be a suspense thriller, this flick is said to span over three generations and a particular portion of it will be shot in black and white. In the retro part of the film, actress Poorna will play the mother for Rekha and the full story revolves around Poorna who plays the female lead. To be directed by debutant Surya, the other details of this venture are kept under wraps.
The shooting is expected to run on floors from January of 2017 and the lady is said to have allotted dates for the team. Apart from this project, Rekha hasn’t signed any movies in the recent past. She was last seen doing a full fledged role in Super Nani in 2014 after which she played a cameo in R.Balki’s Shamitabh in 2015.
