While Vidya Balan's Kahaani 2 and Begum Jaan are still in the production stages, she has started to work for her next film Tumhari Sulu. The diva plays the titular role 'Sulu' meaning lemon and she adds that her role in the film will bring out the naughty side of her. She will be featured as a late-night Radio Jockey named Sulochana (called as Sulu) in this heartwarming love story.
To be directed by Suresh Triveni, he reveals that the story has been specially crafted for the lady for almost a year and is excited to have her on board. The movie is said to revolve around Sulu who unexpectedly gets to become a late night RJ which is known for its voyeuristic features. How the girl-next-door tackles her profession is the crux of the story and is said to bring out the real Vidya.
To be jointly produced by Ellipsis Entertainment and T-Series, the shooting will commence from April 2017 once the lady finishes her present commitments. Meanwhile the makers yet to rope in the rest of the cast and crew members. After playing heroine-centric roles in almost all her previous films, this flick is also a meaty one for the lady to bring out her natural on-screen performance.
