Akshara Haasan joins Thala 57 at Bulgaria
Article posted on 22 November 2016The shooting of Thala 57, tentatively known as AK57 is progressing at a brisk pace at Bulgaria with the team for a quite long time. The last news we heard from the team was Kajal Aggarwal who plays the Bengali wife for Ajith and the the recent one we hear is about Akshara Haasan. Akshara plays the second female lead in the film as Ajith's colleague thereby making her Kollywood debut.
Her role is completely opposite to that of Kajal's who is featured as a soft spoken wife while Akshara is portrayed as a bold investigative officer with some action packed sequences for her. The lady has flown off to Bulgaria to join the shooting which will run till the end of December. Kajal is expected to film her portions after the completion of Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No.150.
Following to this lengthy first schedule, the second schedule will take place at Hyderabad, back in India. Directed by Siruthai Siva who is collaborating with Ajith for the third time in a row, Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi plays the antagonist. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, this action flick is reported to be the costliest film ever in Thala's career.
