Following the success of Kidaari, director cum actor Sasikumar is venturing with a new film to be directed by the newcomer Solai Prakash. This flick would be the 9th production for the actor's home banner Company Productions.

It has been recently titled as ‘Balle Vellaiyathevaa’ and Tanya, the grand daughter of the yesteryear actor Ravichandran is making her Kollywood debut opposite him. Tanya will also be seen opposite Arulnidhi in Brindavanam which will be directed by Radha Mohan.

Earlier the movie’s name was anticipated to be ‘Alapparai’ but the actor took it to officially unveil the new title in his Twitter space. With Sasikumar playing the lead role, the supporting cast has Kovai Sarala and Sangili Murugan as his parents in the film.

The music will be scored by Darbuka Siva who made his musical debut through Kidaari. Touted to be a rural comedy drama set in Madurai locations, actress Leesha who is filming for 3 movies in Kollywood is playing a supporting role.
