Vikram Prabhu’s latest release Wagah had done an average business at the box office and hence the actor is determined to give a hit for sure again this year. His next release would be Veera Sivaji directed by Ganesh Vinayak of Thagaraaru fame. Produced by Nandagopal of Madras Enterprises, Shamilee has paired opposite the actor for the first time.
The shooting has been completed few weeks back and the post production works are at full swing to make the film see the limelight on September 23. Sri Thenandal Films has bought the distribution rights for the film in Tamil Nadu. In the meantime the team has also decided to launch the audio and release the trailer on August 31. Arrangements for the same are going on at a brisk pace.
Music has been composed by D.Imman and the supporting cast of the film consists of John Vijay as a stylish gangster and Robo Shankar. Simbu has crooned a song Thaaru Maaru, a kuthu number in the album. The shooting took place extensively at Chennai and Pondicherry while the Thaaru Maaru song was alone shot at Georgia in Russia.
