The Bollywood actress Diana Penty made her debut in 2012 in Cocktail alongside Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan. Though the movie was successful at the box office and she received good reviews for her performance, the lady went silent for 4 years skipping every offer she got in between.
On August 19, 2016 her second film, Happy Bhag Jayegi which can be said as her comeback is slated to hit the screens. Starring an ensemble cast of Abhay Deol, Jimmy Shergill, Ali Fazal, Piyush Mishra along with Diana, this flick is directed by Mudassar Aziz of Dulha Mil Gaya fame as his second directorial venture.
Speaking about Diana's role in the film, she says it's completely different from the previous one in Cocktail and cannot be compared. When questioned about why she took 4 years gap, Diana shares that she takes only those projects which feels like her cup of tea and not any script that comes.
The actress adds further that stardom is not her ultimate aim but interest and passion towards her work is more important. Indeed there is much pressure for her in terms of her on-screen performance whether she could deliver upto the audience’s expectations like in Cocktail or even better than that.
