Nayanthara with Kaaka Muttai kids in Minjur Gopi direction
Article posted on 31 July 2016Writer Minjur Gopi who was known to have filed a case against A.R.Murugadoss and Pa. Ranjith on story theft has decided to make his independent directorial debut. The film’s plot revolves around the water crisis as in case of Kaththi and the political issues behind it. This untitled project will have Nayanthara playing an extended cameo in the role of a district collector.
The movie also has the Kaaka Muttai kids Vignesh and Ramesh in pivotal roles as their second film together. The supporting cast has Sunu Lakshmi known for Sengathu Bhoomiyile and Ramachandran of Sathuranga Vettai fame. We also hear that there will be no songs in the film but a top music director has been signed in to score the BGM.
Few sources report that the movie went on floors already and the first schedule has been completed at the outskirts of Chennai. The technical team has Om Prakash cranking the camera and the film is bankrolled by producers from Mumbai. Apart from this flick, the director has also revealed that he is working on another script based on boxing in North Chennai as his second venture. For this film, he has roped in 5 professional women boxers.
