Story of Aandavan Kattalai revealed

Director Manikandan who got the National Award for his film Kaaka Muttai is definitely having an element of surprise in his next film Aandavan Kattalai. Featuring two prominent actors, Vijay Sethupathi and Ritika SIngh who themselves are exemplary in their performance, the film will reach heights as Kaaka Muttai.

Apart from them the Iraivi actress Pooja Devariya and Nasar also plays pivotal roles in the film. Recently we hear that the shooting has been completed and the dubbing works are going on with the lead actors. The movie’s plot & genre and its relation to the film’s title were kept under the wraps since the team collaborated.

In a recent interview, Manikandan shared that the movie will revolve around how people are desperate in going abroad and even using a fake passport. Earlier there was a rumour that it would deal with the passport issuance procedure prevailing in our country.

But the fact is, the story is inspired from a novel written by the writer Arul Chezhian which deals with the hiring of brokers for passport application and the subsequent problems for the applicant arising due to providing wrong information by the broker. Based on true life incidents, the issues related to this are being discussed in a humorous touch.
