Malayalam actor Mohanlal and Gauthami are uniting for a trilingual movie Namadhu which will release in all the three languages on August 5. The film has got the title Manmantha in Telugu and Vismayam in Malayalam.
The couple has been lauded for good chemistry on screen in the Malayalam hit 'His Highness Abdullah' in 1990 and they are uniting after 18 years since Iruvar in 1997. Also Gauthami is entering Mollywood after a long gap of 17 years. Directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti of Aithe fame, the film is funded by Varahi Chalana Chitram production house.
Apart from this pair, young couple Viswant Duddumpudi and Anisha Ambrose is also sharing the screen space for the young love. The post production works are currently progressing at a brisk pace starting from the dubbing.
The movie is an anthology revolving around 4 different stories which at the end unites to give the main plot. The original version will be dubbed in Tamil with Madhan Karky penning the lyrics and dialogues. The actor will be seen as a middle class, down-to-earth assistant manager in a supermarket living with strong principles.
