Thozha fame music composer Gopi Sunder who made his Kollywood debut in 2008 in the Poi Solla Porom under A.L.Vijay directorial has united with his old friend once again. He will be scoring the background music for Prabhu Deva’s trilingual horror Devi.
The movie has got the name Devi in Tamil, Abhineyatri in Telugu and '2 in 1' in Hindi. Starring Prabhu Deva with Tamannaah, the dancer turned actor will be seen in a completely makeover and in a different getup for his role. His regular curled hair will look straightened giving a formal appearance.
Produced by himself under Popcorn Entertainment, he had taken almost 3 months to make his screen appearance as he had been off to direction for a while. He shares further that being the producer of the film, he had been pushed to a situation to rope in a hero who doesn’t charge any remuneration.
Left with no choice, he himself had to act in it. Also this is the first time for him to try out a different genre in all the 3 languages. Devi will be more of a horror comedy which is gaining trend at present. The team had indeed put much efforts in filming the movie in 3 different languages.
Prabhu Deva, Tamannaah and Sonu Sood were common in all of them but the supporting cast varies based on the culture so that the audience doesn't feel like it is a dubbed film. Music album composed by G.V.Prakash Kumar will be launched in Telugu version at Vijayawada on August 15 with the yesteryear actress Sridevi unveiling the tracks.
