Director Ameer has went silent since the debacle of his last movie Aadhi Baghavan in 2013. After 3 years hiatus, there are latest reports rounding that he has approached actor Arya for an untitled venture. Few sources report that Arya is in the process of hearing the script, talking with the director and has not yet given a positive nod to be a part of it.
Official news after confirmation is awaited from either of them shortly. Previously Ameer started the pre production works of a film named Peranbu Konda Periyorgale which was touted to be directed by debutant Chandran and produced by Ameer’s assistant Adam Babu. The director was chosen to play the protagonist and Mruthiga of 555 fame was roped in to be his lovelady. But unfortunately the movie did not run on floors due to unknown reasons.
As for the hero, he is filming for his next ‘Kadamban’ directed by the Manjapai maker Raghava. Arya will be playing a tribal in the film with the musical score of Yuvan Shankar Raja. Catherine Tresa is the female lead paired opposite him and the shooting is progressing at a village set at Kodaikanal and parts of Kerala.
