Karthi’s upcoming film Kashmora directed by Gokul of Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame has finished the shooting. The filming has been taking place for a long schedule of 150 days. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, Kashmora has now become the most expensive film in Karthi's career. There were 13 grand sets erected for the same and for the first time in Tamil cinema, a 3D face scanning technology was used for an important sequence in the film.
Billed to be a supernatural horror, the female leads are Nayanthara as Princess and Sri Divya as investigative journalist opposite Karthi. Manisha Yadav also plays a pivotal role and Vivek plays the father for Karthi. Music was composed by Santhosh Narayanan and the audio launch is expected to take place in a couple of weeks. The first look poster was revealed on Karthi’s birthday on May 25.
The story is reported to happen in two frames and the actor had essayed 5 different getups. One of his role in the film is named Kashmora, meaning the world of spirits. His other roles include a King, a youth man and as a bald. Next, the actor will move to film the untitled flick with Mani Ratnam alongside Aditi Rao Hydari from July.
