Maddy in place of Dulquer in a Malayalam remake ?
Article posted on 13 June 2016The Malayalam blockbuster hit Charlier starring Dulquer Salman and Parvathy Menon is on cards to be remade in Tamil as Pramod Films has bought the Tamil remake rights for the film. The recent word on it is that the makers are in talks with Madhavan to play the protagonist reprising Dulquer as Charlie. Director A.L.Vijay is likely to helm the venture and official news upon their confirmation is awaited.
Once they both are finalized, the team will move further on deciding the other members of the technical crew and the rest of the cast including the leading lady. We know that the female lead in the film will play a major role in the story and hence a popular actress is expected to bag it. Stay tuned with WoodsDeck.com to know who it might be at first hand.
As for their individual commitments, the director is working with Prabhu Deva on Devi(L) at Mumbai in a grand scale. The shooting for it is currently at the final stage and will be wrapped up in a couple of months. For the actor, Maddy was last seen in Irudhi Suttru and has not signed any movie so far. Charlie is about a young girl going in search of a mysterious man Charlie who lived previously in her apartment.
