Sri Thenandal Films to make a mega history flick as their 100th
Article posted on 03 June 2016Kollywood Production House, Sri Thenandal Films founded by the late director cum producer Ramanarayanan in 1976 has come long way over four decades. By 2016, it has completed 40 years of its existence in the cine industry producing 99 films and distributing over 750 films throughout India. Such an esteemed production house has handed over their 100th film to Sundar C.
In fact Sundar C’s upcoming comedy flick Muthina Kathrika will also be distributed by them. Being 100th film, the production house has decided to make it in a mega budget in 3 languages: Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Also it is planned to be a historical drama in the lines of Magadheera. Though the rest of the cast and crew are not yet finalised, the VFX team has alone been fixed as of now.
R.C.Kamala Kannan who worked for the VFX in movies like Magadheera, Naan Ee, Baahubali has been signed in to make this a grandeur. The official announcement on the same is expected to come after a week when the director completes the post production works of his next. Meanwhile there are some rumours rounding that a big star will be roped in for the male lead.
