Deepika Padukone agrees for an item number with Sushant Singh Rajput
Article posted on 24 May 2016Deepika Padukone has just completed the shooting for her Hollywood debut XXX:Xander Cage Returns with Vin Diesel and returned back home. Presently she is filming for a real estate commercial. After that she will be seen doing an item number in Raabta. Directed and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Raabta is the directorial debut for the producer Dinesh.
Deepika and Dinesh seems to share a good rapport in their past collaborations like Finding Fanny,Cocktail and Love Aaj Kal. Hence it was easy to convince the lady to shake her legs for a single. The other details regarding the location of the shooting and whether she dances solo or with the male lead are not yet revealed. The music will be composed by Pritam and is expected to become a chartbuster.
Although it is not the first time for Deepika to do an item song. Her first one of this kind was Dum Maro Dum in 2011. As for Raabta, currently the team is at Budapest filming important scenes. Touted to be a romantic entertainer, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon are playing the lead roles. It is planned to hit the screens by February 2017, most likely for the Valentine's day.
