Zarine Khan

Lucky Irrfan Khan had got Zarine Khan to romance him in place of Kangana Ranaut in his upcoming romantic flick Divine Lovers. It is an unconventional pairing to take place for the romantic comedy directed by Sai Kabir. Kangana Ranaut had been in talks to play the leading lady and she was indeed looking forward to pair with him.

Apart from that, the director had already collaborated with Kangana in Revolver Rani in 2014 and he is also reported to share a sibling-like relationship with her. But looks like that date issues have come in between and hence the two couldn’t make things work out. This French production did not take off for 2 years and hence Kangana couldn't give dates now.

Also the director feels that Zarine would fit the best in the Pathani character better than Kangana. Now Zarine will undergo few training along with Irrfan for 2 months before the movie could run on floors from September. The plot of the film revolves around the lower middle class people in the society and set in the heartland of India.
