Telugu comedian Brahmanandam who was mostly seen in Tamil-Telugu bilinguals rather than direct Tamil films is roped in by Kamal Haasan for his next flick. As this movie is also a trilingual made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, he is expected to attract the pan India audiences. Last time the comedian was seen in Prakash Raj’s Mozhi in which he capered the humour well.
This yet-to-be-titled comedy flick will be launched on April 29 by 8:30 A.M at the Nadigar Sangam grounds. There will be a live telecast of the event in the official YouTube channel of the actor. An invitation for the launch was designed by the team which had provoked much curiosity among his fans.
There was a silhouette of Kamal carrying a gun in the US background with a tagline ‘Meendum Varuvadhu Yaar Endru Therugiradha’. This line was from the film ‘Vishwaroopam’ while some sources relate it to his yesteryear action hit Vikram in which he played the underground spy. Will any of the character repeat again? Lets wait for the answer for one more day.
The movie’s title seems to be have been selected by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja himself who also scores music for the film. It is worth recalling that the title Guna was also selected by the Isaignani in 1992. Bankrolled by Raaj Kamal Films International, it is their 41st production venture. Directed by TK Rajeev Kumar, the movie features Shruti Haasan and Ramya Krishnan in the lead roles.
