Prabhu Deva-Tamannaah horror comedy title out !!
Article posted on 31 March 2016Prabhu Deva has floated away from Kollywood and from acting long back with Engal Anna in 2004. He had started to direct Bollywood movies like Ramaiya Vastavaiya and Singh is Bling that turned out to be successful in the box office. After a brief hiatus of 12 years, he will be coming back with a direct film co-starring with Tamannaah in a horror comedy.
To be directed by A.L.Vijay of Thalaivaa and Deiva Thirumagal fame, it will be a trilingual made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. A recent update on this movie is that the makers have chosen the title to be Kaantha. Interestingly, Kaantha is the character name of Tamannaah who is the ghost of the film !
It is jointly produced by Prabhu Deva Studios and Popcorn Entertainments. Apart from them, R.J.Balaji will be playing a pivotal role with the protagonist. Horror comedy movies are very much welcomed by the Kollywood audiences and this movie will be an in-and-out funny entertainer in the lines of Darling, Aranmanai and recently Hello Naan Pei Pesuren.
