A.R.Rahman to compose tunes for G.V.Prakash Kumar?
Article posted on 19 March 2016Renowned cinematographer Rajeev Menon who hails from the God’s own country is very particular in choosing the scripts he work for. His list of ventures since 1991 are very few upto 5 including the recent one like Guru and Kadal. He has also helmed 2 movies so far, Minsara Kanavu and Kandukondein Kandukondein.
The notable point in majority of them is that the music would have been composed by A.R.Rahman. In the lines of these movies, he is going to direct another flick for which the script is already ready. This would be the third movie for him after Kandukondein Kandukondein in 2000.
So A.R.Rahman is definitely a part of the team to compose tunes. Few sources drift that he will rope in the Darling actor G.V.Prakash Kumar as the male lead. Looks like GV is going to get a good breakthrough in his career and he will not be involved here in the music department at all.
The script seems to be out of research but is assured to be a commercial entertainer. Hearing the story, A.R.Rahman was impressed and excited to work for it. Also in an interview to an English daily, the director revealed that he has 6 scripts ready in hand and waiting for the right time to make them as films either in Kollywood or Bollywood.
